Reflecting on 100 years of educational policy in Ireland: was equality ever a priority?

چکیده

The year 2022, one hundred years since the foundation of State, provides an opportunity to reflect on development policy in relation educational equality over course last century, including promises made and opportunities lost. This article looks back at education through lens, asking whether or not state has delivered commitments fostering espoused key junctures have been realised. It concludes that despite incremental sophisticated evolution policy, achieving forefront policymaking Irish State was founded, with exception a brief period during 1960s.
